Please welcome the three newest VMware Certified Design Experts (VCDXs) from the defenses held in San Francisco last week during VMworld.
Chris Fendya, World Wide Technology, National Technical Solutions Architect
Chris helps companies of all sizes in designing next generation data center solutions. With a focus on infrastructure and virtualization, his clientele includes Enterprises (Fortune 500 and up), Department of Defense, and Service Providers. His enjoyment and “work” is to serve these customers with consultative and technical advice with the design surrounding converged systems of compute, virtualization, networking, and storage solutions. Architected and designed solutions often include automation and orchestration components, the basis of any cloud platform.
Shane White, Southern Cross Computer Systems, Systems Engineer
Shane has worked at Southern Cross Computer Systems for 10 years. During his tenure he has designed, implemented, and maintained numerous VMware VI3, vSphere 4, and vSphere 5 environments ranging in size from two hosts and 15 virtual machines, up to 34 hosts and approximately 1000 virtual machines.
Travis Wood, VMware, Senior Consultant
Travis has been selected by VMware to present at multiple conferences including Tech Academy in Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney; vForum in Sydney; and most recently VMware Partner Exchange in Sydney in April 2012 on “Architecting VMware View Solutions”. His next project is the Architectural Lead on the largest VMware ITaaS project conducted for an Australian Government Agency. He will be overseeing the entire project encompassing desktop virtualization, server provisioning, and full life-cycle management.
