The elite VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) certification represents a highly skilled group of design architects working in enterprise deployments across the the entire VMware solution suite. Our newest certification at this level reflects the earner’s world-class skills, knowledge, and experience with VMware vRealize Automation, VMware vCloud Director, and/or VMware vSphere Integrated OpenStack based solutions.
VMware Certified Design Expert 7 – Cloud Management and Automation Certification (VCDX7-CMA) validates your skills in designing, planning, and integrating world-class VMware vSphere and vCloud Management and Automation solutions and driving true business value through VMware Cloud Management platforms.
For the next application deadline of December 22, 2017, you may submit for either the new VCDX7-CMA or for the previous version of VCDX-CMA*. Closely review the blueprint for the version you want to ensure your design meets all specifications.
We encourage you to review the policies and procedures for the program as well as the blueprint and application for the specific certification you are working towards. Attending a VCDX Workshop may also be valuable depending on where you are in your journey.
*You may have noticed there isn’t a VCDX6-CMA. Since the VMware Cloud products are up to v7.x, we built this new blueprint around the most current versions of the VMware solutions. If you have a design based on v6, you may still apply under the previous VCDX-CMA version.
