Today VMware is announcing a new digital badge for VMware Certified Professionals (VCPs) who hold two VCP6 certifications: Double VMware Certified Professional.
The Double VCP badge recognizes that you have expanded your knowledge, skills, and expertise to cover multiple technologies across the VMware solution offerings. It reflects your commitment to personal and organizational success with VMware technology. A Double VCP badge shows that you have the expertise to work with multiple solutions across VMware technology areas.
The following Double VCP badges are available:
- Double VCP – Cloud Management & Desktop Mobility
- Double VCP – Data Center Virtualization & Cloud Management
- Double VCP – Data Center Virtualization & Desktop Mobility
- Double VCP – Data Center Virtualization & Network Virtualization
- Double VCP – Desktop Mobility & Network Virtualization
- Double VCP – Network Virtualization & Cloud Management
If you already hold two VCPs you will receive an email from Acclaim, our digital badging platform, asking you to accept your badge. If you’re still working on your second VCP, once you earn it you’ll receive the email.
These milestone badges are a web-enabled representation of your VMware certifications, and can be shared across your professional network and popular online sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. Milestone badges are issued to individuals who earn a specific set of badges. They represent a collective achievement that acknowledges additional experience and skills.
