We have recently released a new VCP-Desktop certification exam to give you two ways to get certified depending on where you are in your career.
Path 1
If you are already a VCP5-DCV (VMware Certified Professional 5 – Data Center Virtualization, formerly known as VCP5), all you need to do is pass the VMware View exam (VCP510-DT) to earn your VCP5-DT certification. There are two courses that can help you prepare for this exam, but they aren’t required:
- VMware View: Install, Configure, Manage [V5.x]
- VMware View: Desktop Fast Track [V5.x]
Path 2
If you are just starting with VMware technologies or don’t have VCP5-DCV certification, then you need to take two steps to earn your VCP5-DT certification:
- Attend one of these qualifying courses:
- VMware View: Install, Configure, Manage [V5.x]
- VMware View: Desktop Fast Track [V5.x]
- Pass the VCP-Desktop (VCPD510) exam
