Using a matched pair of systems provides a close analogue to single-system benchmarks like VMmark 1.x while providing a more realistic performance profile by including infrastructure operations such as Vmotion. Official VMmark 2.0 results are reviewed for accuracy and compliance by the VMmark Review Panel consisting of AMD, Cisco, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, and VMware.
