Find Your Community

Communities are the heart of Explore, and we’re investing in giving our biggest advocates more space to connect and collaborate.

The expanded community presence includes dedicated footprints for all of your favorite groups, including VMware User Group (VMUG), Broadcom Rewards, VMware {code}, and more. We’re also bringing back the popular Community Theater and {code} Theater for live quick talks from your favorite community experts.

Hit The Hub

Not involved with any VMware Explore communities (yet)? Don’t feel left out—there’s still several ways to get involved and expand your network.

The best place to find and meet new people throughout the event is going to be in The Hub. This newly expanded area in 2025 will be THE place to see and be seen.

This year, The Hub will be home to the impressive VMware by Broadcom booth, several pop-up theaters for live content, a carefully curated sponsor area,  and plenty of fun hang space for impromptu meet and greets.

Not sure where to get started? Join us onsite in The Hub at the Welcome Reception on Monday, August 25 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM PT.

Make the Most of Hands-on Labs

Here’s an insider tip: Hands-on Labs aren’t just for building skills—they’re networking gold mines. There’s nothing like bonding over a tricky configuration issue or celebrating when you both get something working.

Our lab mentors aren’t just there for technical help; they’re also great resources for introductions to other attendees with similar technical interests. The areas surrounding the labs naturally become hotspots for continuing those “How did you solve that?” conversations that start during the week.

Attend an Ancillary Event

Explore offers three full days packed with sessions and four days of meetings and certifications—so there’s no shortage of things to do while you’re onsite.

That said, many community groups and sponsors also host morning and evening gatherings throughout the week to maximize your event experience. These events are great ways to unwind after a busy day and talk shop with fellow attendees.

From happy hours and lavish dinners, to fun and funky offsites, to the ever-popular Hackathon, there’s bound to be something for everyone. Stay tuned for our official list of Explore 2025 Ancillary Events (coming soon!).

Let Loose at Explore Parties

In addition to Ancillary and offsite events (mentioned above), Explore also hosts two dedicated opportunities to relax and reconnect with attendees.

First, kick off your Explore experience with the Welcome Reception in The Hub on Monday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM PT. It’s going to behopping with a live DJ, food and beverage stations, and plenty of swag and giveaways from our generous sponsors. Trust us—The Hub will be THE place to be after sessions end on Monday evening, August 25.

On Wednesday, August 27, end your day on a high note and join us at The Party, VMware Explore’s official after-hours event.. This year, we’re keeping things light and easy with an outdoor extravaganza at the Palazzo Pool from 8:00 – 10:00 PM PT. Connected to the Venetian Convention and Expo Center, you won’t have to travel far to enjoy live entertainment, plenty of tantalizing bites, and of course, some great outdoor networking with your peers!

Note: Access to The Party is included with the Full Event Pass purchase; Essentials and Meeting+ Pass holders can purchase a party pass while onsite for an additional $250.
