We’re off to an incredible start in Barcelona! Monday was a busy day, as attendees arrived onsite for the first time in three years to reunite with their peers and cohorts. Dazzling imagery from every direction surrounded the Fira Gran Via, signaling one’s arrival to the center of the multi-cloud universe.  

Looking Back on Monday (Day 0)

Not everyone is able to make it to “Day 0” of VMware Explore, but to the folks who did, we want to give a big shoutout! The amount of engagement we saw was outstanding during the content-rich Day 0 programming that was available which included:  

• Breakout Sessions – 60 sessions and it’s only Monday‽  
• Aria Deep Dive – Featuring the newly released VMware Aria^TM Product Portfolio, which encompasses all interests related to VMware Cloud Management.  
• Security Mindset – Changing the way you think about enterprise security.

Today: Tuesday (Day 1) 

General Session 

This morning was our official event opening, with an exciting general session with senior executives and industry leaders who shined a spotlight on this unique ecosystem’s role running the globe’s critical infrastructure in a multi-cloud world.  Outside perspectives and customer success stories brought new focus to why multi-cloud matters more than ever for today’s digital businesses. Attendees both in-person and online learned how to build and operate a cloud native platform, accelerate cloud transformation, and empower the hybrid workforce. One of the key takeaways? In times of limited energy and incredible consumption, we must work together to co-innovate our energy transformation in order to solve for complexity of new challenges.
