VMware Explore Las Vegas
The Venetian Convention and Expo Center
August 28, 2024
Day three kept the momentum strong, with the excitement from yesterday carrying through. The exploration continued, with deep dives and diverse insights coming from all angles. Here’s a quick look back at day three, in case you missed it.
The Expo was bustling with energy today following the lively Expo Bash last night where attendees used the mobile app to navigate the floor, and sampled treats like bacon-wrapped short ribs and cheesy kettle chips while engaging with sponsors and exhibitors. Drink options ranged from refreshing token drafts, to orange mule mocktails and aperol spritzes. Whether you tested your swing at Dell’s golf simulator or sat in on a sponsor demo, the vibe was electric with interaction and engagement throughout the evening.
The VMware Odyssey final tournament kicked off at 2:00 PM in the Hands-on Labs room on Level 2 in the back of The Hub. Attendees came out to support the top 8 finalists who ranked highest on the Hands-on Labs Leaderboard from Monday and Tuesday. Those with the highest scores made it into the final tournament where they competed with the best, showed off their skills, and won ultimate bragging rights as well as commemorative prizes. Congratulations to all the winners! For more details on the tournament click here.
On deck for tonight, we can’t wait to rock out at The Party! Celebrating three decades of music, Jimmy Eat World will light up the Main Stage in Hall A. Enjoy awesome food, drinks, games, and of course, some epic music that will surface all the nostalgia of your days gone and past. Share your photos with #VMwareExploreParty.
Day 3 has wrapped up, but there’s still more time to explore The Expo or attend a few breakout sessions on tomorrow’s final day before heading home. Visit The Hub to check out any areas you may have missed or hit up one last round at the pinball machines. Our Certification Exam Center will remain open for anyone looking to squeeze in a last-minute exam and up level their skill set. As always, our session replays are available in the VMware Explore Video Library so you can watch anything you might have missed, on-demand.
