We’re just days away from VMworld Europe, our annual event that this year focuses on how the possibilities of innovation begins with you – our partners, customers and employees This year’s event is particularly special as it coincides with our twentieth anniversary, and reinforces how important constant innovation is to us, our businesses and society.
Nowhere is that truer than with VMware’s relationship with its partners. That link has always been critical – ultimately, partners are the trusted advisors delivering VMware solutions to customers. However, over the years it has evolved, as Nick McAlister, senior director, EMEA Channels, Distribution and Go To Market at VMware, explains in this video. Fittingly shot on location at the Centre for Computer History in Cambridge, UK, it’s the first of two films in which Nick talks about how VMware, its partners and the wider ecosystem are innovating to help organisations to do new things to delight their users and customers.
In this first episode, Nick highlights the importance of the channel, before going on to discuss how VMware’s ambition are inextricably linked with its partners’ ability to innovate and support their customers.
In the next instalment, Nick will be taking a look at execution and the role it has in bringing innovation to life, and how VMware and its partners are working together to do just that. In the meantime, there’s still time to register for VMworld Europe’s partner forum. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the current and future possibilities that exist in the digital infrastructure marketplace, just as Nick talks about in the video.
