Community Shines
Before we wrap up, I wanted to make sure to acknowledge a few individuals that really came through when I needed help in Barcelona.
We had 3 sessions full of attendees eagerly waiting to learn, and, as things go sometimes, the scheduled speakers couldn’t make it. Those are the moments where our wonderful {code} community truly shined. They stepped up to the mic and delivered impromptu talks. It was inspiring to witness the community’s camaraderie and dedication.
What’s even more amazing is that our audience, understanding that things happen, didn’t leave. They stayed to support the impromptu speakers who saved the day, showcasing the true spirit of the vCommunity.
So here’s to the awesome individuals that stepped up when the community was in need of help. You’re what the vCommunity is all about. Check out Lino’s, Marc’s and Pawel’s sessions below. Joining Pawel were {code} Hackathon attendees (but I didn’t capture a picture).
Session: A Guide to Your Portable VMware Lab
Speaker: Lino Telera
Session: The Ultimate HomeLab Guide
Speaker: Marc Huppert
Session: Good, Bad and UGLY – Truth about VCF – VCDX’s lessons learned
Speaker: Pawel Piotrowski
What’s Next?
It was amazing to feel the sense of belonging and never feeling alone even in a completely different continent. Our collective knowledge, passion, and support make us stronger together. Keep reaching out, sharing, and growing—because this amazing community has your back, every step of the way.
If you don’t mind, I prefer not to wait until the next VMware Explore to keep this energy high. We’d love to feature at least one presentation a month on our {code} YouTube channel. These sessions can be as short or as long as you like. Our goal is to help you grow, but also to help our community grow by learning from each other. If you have any topics you’d like to share, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making VMware Explore Barcelona 2024 an unforgettable experience. Together, we can continue to learn, innovate, and support each other throughout the year.
