VMware {code} Coaches 2021!

After the success of last year’s pilot class of VMware {code} coaches, we’ve decided, on the recommendation of our existing 14 wonderful coaches, (who you can read about here) to add 6 more coaches to the program!

These new coaches were nominated by our existing coaches for the integral role that they played in helping the VMware {code} Community learn and grow over the past year. Without further ado, I’m pleased to announce and introduce our newest coaches to the VMware {code} coaches program for 2021!

Kylie Ebringer
Manager, Engineering, Carbon Black, VMware

Kylie is the Engineering Manager of Developer Relations for VMware Carbon Black. Prior to joining Carbon Black, Kylie worked in the Australian Government in several spooky roles including coordinating international project teams and as an information architect focusing on cyber security. Before moving to architecture and management roles, Kylie developed an expertise in data modeling and data warehouse implementation. This past year, Kylie was one of our speakers at our inaugural #CodeConnect conference, which drew over 2500 participants from all over the world.

Cora Iberkleid
Staff Technologist, Pivotal, VMware

Cora Iberkleid is part developer advocate, part advisory solutions engineer at VMware, helping developers and enterprises navigate and adopt modern practices and technologies including Spring, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Tanzu, and modern CI/CD. Cora participated in our inaugural #CodeConnect conference and presented her session, “Writing a Kubernetes Validating Admission Webhook” which you can watch here

Patrick Kremer

Patrick Kremer has worked for VMware since 2014, and has been running VMware environments since ESX 3.0.  He is currently a Staff Solutions Architect specializing in VMware Cloud on AWS.  Patrick hold numerous VMware certifications and is a 2x vExpert. His areas of expertise include VMware Cloud on AWS, Python, PowerCLI, & GitHub. Patrick was also a featured speaker at #CodeConnect and you can watch his talk, “Skills Modernization for the Virtual Infrastructure Admin” here.

Madhu Krishnarao
Senior Technical Product Manager, NSBU, VMware

Madhukar Krishnarao is a Sr. Technical Product Manager at VMware’s Network and Security Business Unit. He currently focuses on Automation and Containers for VMware’s NSX Data Center platform which includes operations, networking & security and DevOps ready solutions. He is also one of the authors of Network Automation for Dummies book. Last year Madhu was an integral player in helping VMware {code} launch our online Power Sessions series where he gave two talks, “Deploying a 3 -Tier app using Terraform Policy modules” & “Upgrade of NSX-T using Ansible”

Vladimir Velikov

Vladi Velikov is a lead engineer in the vSphere Client SDK & Plugins team at VMware. Currently, he is involved in vSphere UI extensibility, API design, Cross vCenter vMotion utility, VMware Event Broker Appliance and community-related initiatives. You can find Vladimir posting on Twitter @vladi_velikov, the vSphere SDK forums, the vExpert channel or his blog PluginsBlog.com. He’s also an active contributor to the VMware {code} community, and is an author of the VMware {code} blog. This year, Vladi has launched the vSphere UI Community team, a group of VMware engineers responsible for developing core vSphere, VMware Cloud and especially UI. In the past Vladi has also served as a team captain at our VMworld VMware {code} Hackathon!

Susan Wu
Senior Product Marketing Manager, NSBU, VMware

Susan is a Senior Product Marketing Manager in VMware’s Networking and Security Business Unit. Co-author of Service Mesh for Dummies and Network Automation for Dummies books. She previously led product and technical marketing roles at Sun/Oracle, Canonical, Docker, Citrix and Midokura (SDN startup now part of Sony Group). She is a frequent speaker at conferences such as OSCON, Open Source Summit, Container World, Interop, Open Networking Summit, VMUG UserCons and VMworld. This past year, Susan gave a talk on “Managing Multi-cluster Kubernetes with Tanzu Service Mesh and Tanzu Mission Control” which has over 1k views on our YouTube channel!
