Episode 50: What’s in store for you?

In this session, I am joined by Joerg Law (Staff Technical Product Manager) and Milko Hristov Slavov (Staff Engineer for VCD) to discuss the newly extended autoscaling feature for VCD 10.2.2. Dynamic autoscaling uses the VCD extension framework and enables on-demand scaling of virtual infrastructure and resources. Cloud Providers can reap the benefits of this new extensibility solutions to scale cloud services such as server capacities or virtual machines up and down automatically, based on pre-defined rules and policies each applications requiring autoscaling.

This plugin is now readily available on the VCD 10.2.2 interface, it is a free capability, and offers more elasticity for Cloud Providers to grow and shrink infrastructure and supports role-based access for tenants. Watch this video to uncover how you can configure and publish the auto scale plug-in to lower costs and increase application availability.
