This is a new initiative to help enable our partners get the most out of their investment in the VMware Cloud Provider Platform.

Each week we will release a new video covering a different topic in more depth. The content will be mostly technical but will also cover services that are feasible with the features. Keep an eye out on this blog site to see when a new video is released.

This week I’m joined by Romain Decker (Staff Technical Product Manager) to discuss how Cloud Providers should consider and execute their NSX-V to NSX-T migrations. This is a really important session, as we are all going to have to do this. However this session only focuses on NSX with VMware Cloud Director and the supplied NSX migration tool (also see Tomas Fojta’s blog on this topic), the tool is going through revisions to cover more use cases, so make sure you are aware of what it covers and what it doesn’t cover. This session is recorded covering the 1.1 version of the tool. 1.2 is coming soon, so keep an eye out for this, we will run another session when this comes out.
