VMware Cloud on AWS Giveaways at VMworld US

Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and management is certainly going to be top of mind for many of our customers attending this year. There are a large number of resources this year that customers will be able to take advantage of at VMworld including deep technical breakouts, Instructor Led Workshops, Customer Panels, Short Lightning Talks, Meet the Experts, Hand-On-Labs and many opportunities to have 1:1 meetings with both VMware Cloud on AWS Product Managers and Engineers during the conference. In addition to all the networking and knowledge brain dump, it would not be VMworld without some cool giveaways, right!? Do not worry, the VMware Cloud on AWS team has you covered, and we think these will be quite popular for attendees this year.

How do I score one?

So what do you have to do to get one of these awesome limited edition #VMWCloudLego minifigures, quick reference poster or new VMware Press book or maybe all of them?

Attend the following sessions based on the criteria listed below. At the end of the session, take your selfie with the unique session code on the backdrop. Then please visit the Cloud City booth on Tue: 1-5 PM, Wed:1-5 PM and Thu: 1-3PM, show us the picture and get your gift.

Where to claim your giveaways:

• Lego Minifigures/ Books/Quick Reference Posters – Please visit us at Cloud City Booth: (Location: Moscone West 2nd Floor. Find us at the top of the escalators, straight after reception) during the following time slots and claim your legos:
  • Tuesday: 1-5pm
  • Wednesday: 1-5pm
  • Thursday: 1-3pm
• Book: Data Center Modernization with VMware Cloud on AWS: You can get this book at the expert led workshop halls after the session is finished or you can get it at the Cloud City if you show us your picture at the session you attended.

Special Grand Prize

While designing the #VMWCloudLego minifigures, we thought that these minifigures would look even better with a companion case to store them in. So why not!? We worked our magic and had a special custom #VMWonAWS Lego case made. Due to the extreme limited quantity, we really had to call in some favors to even be able to give some of these away at VMworld.

We will be giving away 5 of these cases and not just the case but it will also include all four #VMWCloudLego minifigures! To qualify, the first five individuals who have attended the most amount #VMWonAWS sessions, breakouts, etc. at the end of the week (Thursday) will win one of these cases.

To claim your prize, visit the Cloud City Booth on Thurs from 1-3pm to submit your final tally of #VMWonAWS sessions. Best of luck to those taking on this amazing challenge!
