On May 24, 2018 in Scottsdale, Arizona, VMware hosted their third annual Partner Leadership Summit. The main highlight of the Summit was the announcement of the Partner Innovation Awards, where VMware commends the outstanding achievements and professional excellence of its’ partners over the last year. The recognized qualities include performance in routes to market, functional areas, focus solutions, as well as strategic IT priorities and other key categories.
Both regional and global partners of VMware attended the invite-only event, which served as an excellent opportunity for leading executives in the field to consort with each other, as well as with VMware’s own corporate leaders. A wide variety of interactive sessions were on offer, designed to enhance strategic planning and accelerate execution at every level of a partner’s organization. Executive group discussions and customer use case presentations gave perspectives on business challenges and highlighted best practices in different partner entities. The Summit also provided an opportunity for guests to take a detailed look into the upcoming VMware strategy, paving way for mutual success over the remaining months of 2018 and beyond.
During the Partner Innovation Award ceremonies, Vice President of Worldwide Channels Jenni Flinders praised the calibre of work being done by VMware partners, with an emphasis on the benefits of teamwork and collaboration. “We are pleased to recognize all of our 2018 VMware Partner Innovation Awards winners. Partner Innovation Award honorees received awards in 17 global and 14 regional categories for outstanding performance and notable achievements. There categories included Education, Emerging Markets Distributor, Cloud Provider, Global Distributor, Marketing, Strategic Alliance, Empower the Digital Workspace amongst others.
