In this video, Mark Achtemichuk talks with Bob Goldsand and Todd Muirhead about the performance work done for a recently published paper on Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS). Working with partners Oracle, AMD, and Deloitte a series of performance tests with Oracle and SQL Server databases were run on AMD EPYC based shapes to help answer the question why OCVS?
