We recently walked away with 4 amazing recognitions from the annual Employer of Choice awards organized by To The Top Agency and The Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. We are happy that our efforts to support and add meaningful initiatives and policies that contribute to our people and community’s well-being have been noticed.
The Awards
???????? ?? ?????? ???? – for the 4th year in a roll, VMware is voted among the top 3 of the most desired employers in Bulgaria. Over the past 15 years, VMware has grown to become one of the biggest investors in IT in Bulgaria, a driving force behind the development of the IT ecosystem and a harbinger of positive social change.
???????? ????? ???????? ????? for the #CompleteU campaign showcasing VMware life and culture via a series of authentically told employee stories. Heartfelt thanks to the brilliant minds behind the campaign and all the captivating VMware storytellers. VMware is a place where people can equally enjoy the privilege of having a fulfilling career and good work-life balance, a place you are encouraged to bring your whole self to work. This is why we called the campaign #TheCompleteU and the campaign’s central message was: “VMware is a place where you can be the complete you.” Watch the videos here: https://lnkd.in/ek5dzJ8
We cannot be happier that the ??????? ???????????? ?? ???????? ???????? ????? went to our colleague Sabina Hristova. Sabina is an integral part of VMware Bulgaria’s brand and communications team. Her creative power, zest and collaborative spirit has played a crucial role in building the recognizable and positive brand image that VMware has in Bulgaria today.
Earlier this month, we also received recognition from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy for remarkable achievements in our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policy. As part of the VMware 2030 agenda, we are redefining the future workplace through initiatives that include our DEI efforts.
We are proud to be recognized for our sustained commitment to an inclusive culture where all VMware people can belong and thrive. During the past 15 years, our main priorities included providing opportunities for a successful IT career through access to the latest technologies and innovative projects and sharing know-how and good practices with employees in the IT sector and other companies in Bulgaria. One of our most significant educational initiatives is Talent Boost academy, available to students in computer science, software engineering, or other IT-related disciplines at any university in Bulgaria. The program is a 10-year employee-led educational initiative with more than 200 students who participated.
We are also recognized for our continuous support for the DEI communities in Bulgaria like Women Who Code Sofia, Girls in AI, and Rails Girls Sofia and for the extended paternity leave we recently introduced.
Expanding VMware Benefits
Welcoming a new child into the home is one of the most important times in life. We fully support our employees and their families at VMware as they take on this new journey. We recently added a new benefit to support expanding families adapting to their new reality. We extended the paternity leave benefit to eighteen weeks of paid leave off from work for pre-natal periods, childbirth, placement of a child for adoption, and/or to spend time with their new child.
