VMware Bulgaria Scholarship aids students as they work to achieve their educational goals and rise as future innovators.
We are offering a scholarship for 2 talented women students. We’ll cover the tuition for the 1st year of university education in one of the universities listed below. Their part will be to be passionate and dedicated to what they are doing.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
- Be a high school senior
- Demonstrate a solid academic record
- Be planning to attain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or other computer science-related field of study in one of the following universities:
– American University in Bulgaria
– Sofia University, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics
– Technical University of Sofia
– New Bulgarian University
Application and Selection Process:
- CV and motivation letter (please include achievements on state and regional Olympiads or individual project work)
- Math grades from the National External Assessment
- HackerRank Test
- HR Interview

- Selection of University – by June, 2022
By joining our scholarship program, students will gain more benefits than just financial. They’ll have access to information about local career opportunities of international companies. In addition, they will have the opportunity to connect with seasoned professionals who might become their mentors and potentially start as interns at VMware Bulgaria after graduating from university.
If we aren’t going to the math final external test, what we have to do? Can we give us more information about the hacker rank test and etc
Thank you for your question, and yes, we consider that this year, no external maths exams were held due to the pandemic. However, you can still apply by providing your maths ratings from the last two years of your education. On the hackerrank test question – we plan a simple coding task with no limitations on the used programming language.
