VMware Aria Automation for Secure Hosts Remediation Actions

VMware Aria Automation

VMware Aria Automation for Secure Hosts Vulnerability Workspace introduces Pre and Post Remediation Actions.

Prior to the 8.14.1 November release an administrator would need to manually perform pre and post remediation actions outside of VMware Aria Automation for Secure Hosts. Now an administrator can select state files to run before and after applying the remediation action in the Vulnerability Workspace or via the API.

For example, an administrator may have a state file that enables and disables alerting for a machine. So, with the new remediation actions, an administrator may disable alerting on the minions and re-enable alerts post the remediation action completing.
