Leena Joshi lays out some of the highlights from last week's release of VI3.5 Update 2.

- enhanced VMotion compatibility
- VSS quiescing for Windows applications
- Monitoring and availability enhancements
- "Many more interesting features," including live cloning, guided consolidation enhancements, and Windows 2008 support. More commands have also been added to the RCLI.
See the release notes for the details. Leena makes the point that features initially introduced in 3.5 as "experimental" are making their way under the "supported" umbrella.
