Today Microsoft released its much anticipated Windows 8 Consumer Preview. VMware Fusion 4 is a great choice if you want to try Windows 8 for yourself. By running in a virtual machine you can remain isolated from your documents and other important applications, and simply roll back using snap shots in the event something goes wrong. If you’d like a walkthrough of installing Windows 8, checkout todays post by Arstechnica detailing the installation of Windows 8 in VMware Fusion.
Everyone here on the VMware Fusion team is amped about this new release, and what it means for VMware Fusion. Stay tuned for more updates in the future!

I would if VM Fusion worked with Mountain Lion!
At least in my case it’s seems not so easy. I have a MacPro late 2008 2×2.8 Quad Core with VMWare Fusion 4.1.1. After the second or third screen during the w8 installation process I get an error message “CD-Rom/DVD driver not found”. Any hints?
Is unity working for You guys with VMware ?
The Windows 8 full screen does not stretch to the whole screen. Is there a way to change this in settings?
Windows 8 does not run in Vmware 3.1.4. Getting blue screens and it will not load. Please advise.
