VMware Tech Pubs just released another great video, this one provides an overview on using reverse web proxy servers to scale out your Auto Deploy infrastructure.
In a high demand situation, a single Auto Deploy server becomes overloaded and slows down. To support fast provisioning with Auto Deploy, you can create reverse proxy servers that cache the Auto Deploy information. The DHCP server can then route different hosts to different TFTP servers, and each TFTP server sends the host to either the Auto Deploy server or a proxy server.
