Virtual Volumes – Sessions
VMware’s latest beta program, Virtual Volumes (VVols), will be making an appearance at VMworld. VVols encapsulate virtual disks and other virtual machine files and natively stores them on the storage system. This enables administrators to make manage storage on the granular level, use policy-based management for common storage management and easily provision all the necessary storage for an application.
