With an all-time high of 7,000 vSAN customers, we want to make sure that your vSAN deployment and operations are seamless and that you’re getting the most benefit from the product. Our ongoing “Getting More Out of vSAN: Deploy and Operate” webcast series, presented by vSAN experts, is designed to help you succeed in your IT evolution. These webcasts will enable your understanding of vSAN fundamentals though best practices and uses cases, and you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions in an interactive Q&A.
This February, we’re focusing on vSAN design, sizing, troubleshooting and monitoring. For architects, we’ll share practical guidance into vSAN sizing and design. For administrators, we’ll show you the tools and resources that can help you simplify day-to-day vSAN monitoring and troubleshooting.
Session 3: Sizing & Design Guidance for the vSAN Architect will take you into the mechanics of vSAN and how it differs from legacy storage, and discuss key factors for other layers of the HCI stack. We’ll also review configuration and consumption models for hybrid vs. all-flash storage.

Speakers: Jase McCarty and Rakesh Radhakrishnan Nair
Session 4: Monitoring & Troubleshooting for the vSAN Administrator will describe the differences between vSAN and legacy storage monitoring and troubleshooting, the management boundaries of vSAN-based distributed storage, and how to minimize real and perceived issues.
