Recently VMware has made several announcements pertaining to vSphere 7, vSAN 7, VMware Cloud Foundation 4.0 and of course the Tanzu portfolio. The majority of these announcements tie in very deeply with the overall VMware company vision which is any application on any cloud on any device. You may have noticed that VMware has placed a major emphasis on newer, modern applications which are predominantly container based, and predominantly run on Kubernetes. Our aim is to build a platform which can build, run, manage, connect and protect both traditional virtualized applications and modern containerized applications. This week on the Virtually Speaking Podcast we welcome Myles Gray and our very own John Nicholson to discuss vSAN FIle Services which allows both traditional virtualized applications and newer, modern, containerized applications to consume this service on any app, and cloud, any device.
