During VMworld Barcelona 2016, we announced the latest release of the market-leading, enterprise-class storage solution for hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), VMware vSAN 6.5. vSAN builds on the existing features introduced in version 6.2 by enhancing automation, further reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) with 2-node direct connect, and setting the stage for next-generation cloud native applications.
With the rapid adoption of vSAN – 5,500+ customers and growing – vSAN continues to be a core building block for the Software-Defined Data Center.
Much like we did with the 6.2 launch, the VMware Storage and Availability Solutions Team would like to invite you to #vSANchat on December 15th, at 11:00am PST. A discussion for both new, existing, and potential vSAN users, we encourage you to participate and share your thoughts and questions.
Below are some example topics to be discussed during the #vSANchat:
- New features of vSAN 6.5
- Use Cases for vSAN 6.5
- vSAN and Photon Platform
- VMware Cloud Foundation
- VMware Cloud on AWS
