    The $9.99 upgrade is supposed to be available *through* the end of 2010. It’s still 2010 but if you click the link it’s not available at that price anymore. I’m so disappointed.

    I also tried to purchase the upgrade for $9.99/license before the end of 2010 and ran into the same issue — the links from the promotion e-mail and blog post above take you to a VMware store page showing a higher upgrade price.
    When this occurred I submitted tickets with sales and customer service on December 31st, 2010 and still haven’t received a response after 7 days other than an automated one.
    If you contact me (e-mail provided in comment form) I can provide the support ticket numbers.
