VMware Cloud on AWS provides a solution for customers looking to adopt or extend/migrate to the cloud. VMware Cloud on AWS leverages the VMware stack (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX), which customers are already familiar with on-prem, to allow for ease of adoption. The new networking and security enhancements coming to VMware Cloud on AWS with NSX-T, such as distributed firewall (DFW), grouping object support, connectivity enhancements with VPN and Direct Connect, and new monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities, provide additional robust capabilities and allow customers to support additional use cases.
