Reference Architecture for Enterprise TKGI, DevOps admin & Developer views

There are bits and pieces of information online about containers, microservices & Kubernetes. From working at a customer before joining VMware, I see a need for new or existing customers to understand this space in a little more detail. Customers need to know all the moving parts to appreciate the solution so that they can plan on how to on-board their business and IT teams on to this new way of developing services to bring in revenue.

This resulted in the development of two reference architectures. The Developer and the DevOps admin will have two separate views of what happens behind the scenes on their common day to day activities.

This reference architecture is a starting point for Enterprise architects to guide their leadership team in making key decisions.

The customer can use this reference architecture to ask the right questions for VMware to answer so they start planning their next steps in their application modernization journey. This should make the discovery process for the customer and VMware simpler.
