As part of the keynote, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Henning Loeser of Audi for a fireside chat with Alexandra Baleta, Ph.D., VMware Senior Director Industry for EMEA. Audi is looking to further automate its factories worldwide with a scalable edge infrastructure. Audi’s Edge Cloud 4 Production will replace individual PCs and hardware on the shop floor. This digital transformation is expected to increase factory uptime, agility, and speed of rolling out new applications and tools. VMware Edge Compute Stack and VMware Edge Cloud Orchestrator offer a scalable way for Audi to operate a distributed edge infrastructure and manage resources more efficiently to lower costs.
