Many VMware strategic partners are just starting their SASE journey. We are helping them to chart a path, navigate the waters and set sail to SASE via the VMware SASE Partner Technical Enablement Roadshow. The series kicked off June 29-30 in Staines (United Kingdom), followed by New York City and Sydney (Australia) on July 26-27 and concluded August 3-4 in Mexico City (Mexico).
The hands-on SASE technical workshops enabled our key VMware SD-WAN™ partners — including resellers, systems integrators, and telcos such as AT&T, BT, Telstra, Vodafone, NTT, MetTel, Kyndryl, DXC, Capgemini, SHI, Ingram Micro, and many others — with the knowledge to help their networking and security practice teams drive IT transformation for the multi-cloud edge and hybrid workforce, and migrate their customers towards VMware SASE™.
As applications migrate to the cloud and users access distributed apps from anywhere, legacy WAN and VPN architectures are no longer adequate to meet evolving customer needs.
VMware SASE closes this architecture gap by bringing together networking, security, and edge services while delivering next-level performance and protection from the cloud.
Learning how to sell, design, and deploy VMware SASE
During the VMware SASE Partner Roadshow workshops, everyone from executives to sales reps to engineers received a deep understanding of how to sell, design, and deploy an end-to-end VMware SASE architecture consisting of VMware SD-WAN, VMware Edge Network Intelligence™, VMware Secure Access™, and VMware Cloud Web Security™. They also learned how to use a VMware SASE solution to drive differentiation, design service offerings, unlock new opportunities, and grow their business.
Workshops covered in-depth presentations on VMware SASE, one-on-one partner discussions, hands-on labs, and technical deep dives. Best of all, partner engineers who attended the workshop received up to $2,000 in post-sales accreditation cost savings.
Why is this important? Normally, before a partner can build professional services around VMware SASE, they must take a solution competency course. This requires them to participate in labs and pass an exam to receive their certification. Attending the workshop eliminates the $2,000 curriculum fee and automatically certifies each partner engineer. They can confidently sell, design, and deploy a comprehensive VMware SASE architectural solution to enable their customers to move with confidence towards SASE.
