Over the last few weeks, I had the opportunity to attend the beta deliveries of two different VMware Education classes: VMware NSX Troubleshooting and Operations v6.3 and VMware vRealize Log Insight: Deploy and Manage v4.3. A beta class delivery is the first public teaching of a course while it is still under development by the Content Development Team. Feedback is gathered during the delivery that is used to clean up and determine content before it is released in its final form.
Why should you attend the beta delivery of a VMware Education class?
- The first reason is the other students in the class. You will be in the same room with the lead instructor, the course developer, and other subject matter experts responsible for creating the content of the course. You would be hard-pressed to find more knowledge on the course in a single gathering.
- The second reason is the role you can play. Your input will be used to directly shape the content that ends up in the GA version of the course.
- The third, and maybe most enticing reason, is that beta deliveries are offered at half price! Your bottom line will thank you for getting all of the knowledge at half the cost.
