“Ghost” Vulnerability Disclosed
On January 27, a buffer overflow vulnerability in the glibc gethostbyname() function was identified and given the name “Ghost”. Even though no VMware product has been found to be exploitable using this issue, we will continue to update the glibc library in normal upcoming maintenance releases.
