Back by popular demand, we’ve rounded up a quick checklist of the top Education and Certification Things to Know Before You Go.

2) Get Access to the Latest VMware Technologies and Take it for a Spin
Hands-on Labs give VMworld attendees special access to the latest VMware technologies without requiring the purchase of equipment, software, or licenses. Attendees have an opportunity to try all the VMware products with a VMware-provided keyboard or use their own device and experiment with a product in the lab for approximately 60 minutes.
Product experts are also on hand to provide immediate guidance. After each lab participant, the environment is reset to a fresh state for the next person.
Depending on your experience with our products you can choose from 4 different types of Hands-on Labs to suit your needs:
- New Hands-on Lab Users – Look for “101” or “A to Z” in the title if you are new to labs.
- Expert-led Workshops (ELW) – Gain intimate access and interact with the people who built the labs and know our products best in these sessions.
- Self-paced Labs (SPL) – Want to have a go at your own pace and on your own device or in a traditional setting? Try these labs, which do not need advanced scheduling.
- Expanded Lab Modules – Lab Modules organize Hands-on Labs content into consumable units of 15-60 minutes.
3) Save Time by Pre-enrolling in Your Sessions of Choice
Use the Schedule Builder to choose and pre-enroll in the specific sessions you want to attend. Some sessions fill up quickly so we highly recommend pre-registering!
4) Get your certification questions answered in the Education & Certification Lounge
Stop by the Education & Certification Lounge in Hall 7 and get your certification questions answered, or make plans to attend our presentation in the VMware Theatre in Hall 8.
