As VMworld celebrated its 10 year anniversary, I was again reminded of the continuing momentum, as I watched over 20,000 people descend on AT&T Ballpark in San Francisco. Another year, another incredible event!
During the whirlwind of VMworld activity, we happily announced the launch of our brand new VMware Certified Associates program, an affordable, efficient way for even more IT professionals to start down the VMware certification path. Our first class of VMware Certified Associates is already on the ground, building up IT organizations and their own value to the business. If you’re interested in becoming a VMware Certified Associate, get started today and save 50% on any exam.
In addition to welcoming new VCAs to the VMware Certification family, we also delivered more than 400 VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) certification exams at the VMworld Certification Exam Center.
But that’s not all, we also launched a new enhanced Learning Paths site, to help you figure out your ideal training solution to get skilled up, and achieve certifications along the way. You can see our education portfolio, including e-learning options by Solutions, Products, Role, and of course, Certifications.
And our friends at VMware Press had an awesome week too with book debuts, author signings, and more.
But don’t let that make you think VMworld was all work—we had plenty of fun, too. Anyone who stopped by the certification lounge could pick up a free “Stand Out From the Crowd” t-shirt. If one of our team saw someone wearing the shirt around VMworld, we handed them a $5 gift certificate to for energy-boosting refreshments. Thanks to our winners for spreading the VMware certification pride.
