Tim Burkard – Tim has been a technical instructor for 20+ years. He has trained IT professionals in the areas of operating systems, security, and networking. Tim specializes in teaching VMware NSX and has previously taught courses covering the entire vSphere product line. Tim holds multiple VMware certifications including VCP, VCAP, VCI, and VCIX-NV, and others including MCSE, CCNP, and CISSP.
Drew Rosen – Drew Rosen is an experienced digital learning strategist. At a young age, he was naturally drawn to math, music, and technology. His passion for IT led him to become a network engineer, systems engineer, education specialist, product marketing manager, education expert, and content strategist. Currently, he leads VMware’s global learning content strategy. Passionate about influencing people’s learning, he believes career development is a lifelong journey. Helping others navigate their career journeys is truly Drew’s passion!
Brian Watrous – Brian Watrous is a Principal Instructor with VMware Education. He has been with VMware for 17+ years and is a founding member of VMware Education’s Tech Lead Team. He loves traveling the world and always strives to pick up and practice some of the local language. His natural language skills are nowhere near as good as his computer programming language skills (20+ languages), but he keeps practicing.
Joe Cooper – Joe Cooper is a Technical Learning Engineer with VMware Learning. He is the lead instructor the What’s New and Install, Configure, and Manage courses for both vSphere and Horizon. Based in New York, he travels the globe sharing his knowledge and experience with anyone who wants to get smart about the tools that VMware has to offer.
Joel West – (aka Mr. Full Stack) is one of the few who has worked with every VMware solution that has evolved over the years. Joel specializes in network virtualization, micro-segmentation, hybrid/multi-cloud design, and digital workspace. He has worked as an implementer, architect, business consultant and trainer. Joel’s proven ability to analyze an organization’s critical business requirements and identify deficiencies and potential opportunities sets him apart in the eyes of VMware partners and customers.
