Welcome to the new VMware Learning training course and certification exam blog for March 2021. This month has been extremely productive with the release of an unusually high volume of new learning opportunities, with ten (10) new courses and two (2) new exams, to help you develop your skills and increase your knowledge.
A reminder that the VMware Learning team has transitioned all scheduled in-person trainings to a virtual (live online) format. Now is the time, even while working from home to take full advantage of innovative VMware technologies. Summaries are provided below.

VMware Horizon 8: Infrastructure Troubleshooting
During this five-day course, you focus on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vRealize® Automation™. You learn about how vRealize Automation can be used to automate the delivery of virtual machines, applications, and personalized IT services across different data centers and hybrid cloud environments. This course makes heavy use of hands-on labs. Students can run 39 labs during the 5-day course.

This two-day, hands-on course gives you the skills to deploy and use VMware vRealize® Network Insight™ to ensure an optimized, highly available, and secure infrastructure for your applications. You will learn the features, components, architecture, and benefits of vRealize Network Insight and how to use it to simplify daily operation and troubleshooting tasks.

VMware Workspace ONE: Deploy and Manage [V21.x]
In this five-day course, you will learn how to apply the fundamental techniques for launching and maintaining an intelligence-driven, multi-platform endpoint management solution with VMware Workspace ONE® UEM (Unified Endpoint Management). Through a combination of hands-on labs, simulations, and interactive lectures, you will configure and manage the endpoint lifecycle. After the course, you will have the foundational knowledge for effectively implementing Workspace ONE UEM. Also, you will learn how to apply the fundamental techniques for integrating Workspace ONE Access™ with Workspace ONE UEM to securely distribute business-critical applications from any device and configure access management controls.
VMware Workspace ONE: Skills for UEM [V21.x]
In this three-day course, you will learn how to apply the fundamental techniques for launching and maintaining an intelligence-driven, multi-platform endpoint management solution with VMware Workspace ONE® UEM (Unified Endpoint Management). Through a combination of hands-on labs, simulations, and interactive lectures, you will configure and manage the endpoint lifecycle. After the three days, you will have the foundational knowledge for effectively implementing Workspace ONE UEM.
VMware Workspace ONE: UEM Bootcamp [V21.x]
In this five-day course, you will learn how to apply the fundamental techniques for launching and maintaining an intelligence-driven, multi-platform endpoint management solution with VMware Workspace ONE® UEM (Unified Endpoint Management). Through a combination of hands-on labs, simulations, and interactive lectures, you will configure and manage the endpoint lifecycle. You will also learn to investigate, analyze, and determine issues that might occur with all the different components of Workspace ONE UEM.
VMware Workspace ONE: UEM Troubleshooting [V21.x]
In this two-day course, you will learn to investigate, analyze and determine issues that might occur with all the different components of VMware Workspace ONE® UEM (Unified Endpoint Management). Understanding how to effectively troubleshoot product issues enables administrators to understand how product services communicate and function—in turn, optimizing service and software health management. Troubleshooting is the backbone of service maintenance and management.
VMware vRealize
VMware vRealize Operations: Install, Configure, Manage [V8.2]
This five-day course is for users of both cloud and on-premises versions of the VMware vRealize® Operations™ product. It provides you with the knowledge and skills to deploy a vRealize Operations cluster that meets the monitoring requirements of your environment.
This course includes advanced capabilities like customizing alerts, views, reports, and dashboards and explains the architecture in vRealize Operations. This course explains certificates, capacity and cost concepts, and workload optimization with real-world use cases. This course covers troubleshooting using workbench, alerts and Predefined dashboards and how to manage compliance and configurations. This course also covers several management packs, and it introduces VMware vRealize® Operations Cloud™.

VMware vRealize Operations: Day 2 Operations with Cloud [V8.2]
This four-day course is for users of the VMware vRealize Operations Cloud product version. It includes how to use advanced capabilities like customizing alerts, views, reports, and dashboards and explains the architecture in VMware vRealize® Operations™.
This course explains certificates, capacity concepts, and workload optimization with real-world use cases. This course covers troubleshooting using dashboards and how to manage compliance and configurations. VMware NSX-T
VMware NSX-T Data Center for Intrinsic Security [V3.1]
This five-day, hands-on training course provides you with the knowledge, skills and tools to achieve competency in configuring, operating and troubleshooting VMware NSX-T™ Data Center for intrinsic security. In this course, you are introduced to all the security features in NSX-T Data Center, including the distributed and gateway firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS), VMware NSX® Intelligence™, and network detection and response (NDR).
VMware NSX-T Data Center: Multi-Site Deployments with Federation
This three-day, hands-on training course provides you with the knowledge and skills to achieve competency in deploying, configuring, and managing VMware NSX-T™ Data Center Federation. This course first introduces you to the architecture of NSX-T Data Center Federation and then covers all features and functionality offered in Federation, including the deployment of logical switching, logical routing, and security policies across multiple sites. Finally, the course describes various disaster recovery scenarios for Federation.

Associate VMware Digital Workspace
The VMware Certified Technical Associate – Digital Workspace exam validates an individual’s knowledge of end-user computing and endpoint management concepts, high-level awareness of VMware’s Digital Workspace products and solutions, and the ability to perform basic operations with VMware products.
VMware vRealize Cloud Universal
Advanced Design VMware Cloud Management and Automation
The Advanced Design VMware Cloud Management and Automation exam tests a candidate’s ability to design a VMware Cloud Management solution by validating product and technical knowledge as well as the ability to analyze, evaluate, and create solutions.
