This month, VMware Education Services released 8 NEW courses to help you develop your skills and increase your knowledge. Don’t let the restriction of working from home stop you from learning how to take full advantage of the innovative VMware technologies that will help your organization work remotely and quickly impact business needs. The Education Services team has transitioned all scheduled in-person trainings to a virtual (live online) format, including our Workspace ONE offerings. Summaries are provided below.
VMware Workspace ONE
VMware Workspace ONE: Design [V20.x] – In this one-day course, you learn the fundamentals of VMware Workspace ONE® solution design, which addresses both the general solution design logics, the solution design process flow, and the areas of VMware Workspace ONE® UEM use cases.
VMware Workspace ONE: Unified Endpoint Mgmt Troubleshooting, Adv Integration, and Design Fast Track [V20.x] – In this five-day, extended hour course, you learn how to navigate and manage the VMware Workspace ONE® Access™ console (formerly known as the VMware Identity Manager™ console). Through a combination of hands-on labs, simulations, and interactive lectures, you learn to investigate, analyze, and determine issues that might occur with all the different components of the VMware Workspace ONE® UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) platform.
VMware Workspace ONE: Unified Endpoint Management for Windows 10 [V20.x] – On Demand – This course, equivalent to 2 days of training, provides you with the advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage Windows 10 Endpoint Lifecycle in VMware Workspace™ ONE™. This workshop teaches the required skill and competence in onboarding Windows 10 endpoints and managing Windows 10 applications and policies as well as related Workspace ONE functionality such as Production Provisioning and Peer-to-peer Distribution.
VMware Cloud Foundation
VMware Cloud Foundation: Management and Operations [V3.9.1] – This three-day course includes instruction on the capabilities, including customization and management, and explains the architecture of VMware Cloud Foundation™. This course explains license management, certificate management, maintenance, and lifecycle management. The course covers workload domains, workload migration, availability, and troubleshooting and provides an overview of VMware vSAN™ and VMware NSX® implementation in VMware Cloud Foundation.
VMware vSphere
VMware vSphere: What’s New [V6.7 to V7] – In this three-day, hands-on training course, you explore the new features and enhancements in VMware vCenter Server® 7 and VMware ESXi™ 7. Real-world use-case deployment scenarios, hands-on lab exercises, and lectures teach you the skills that you need to effectively implement and configure VMware vSphere® 7.
VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V7] – This five-day course features intensive hands-on training that focuses on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere® 7, which includes VMware ESXi™ 7 and VMware vCenter Server® 7. This course prepares you to administer a vSphere infrastructure for an organization of any size. This course is the foundation for most of the other VMware technologies in the software-defined data center.
VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale [V7] – This five-day course teaches you advanced skills for configuring and maintaining a highly available and scalable virtual infrastructure. Through a mix of lecture and hands-on labs, you configure and optimize the VMware vSphere® 7 features that build a foundation for a truly scalable infrastructure, and you discuss when and where these features have the greatest effect.
VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX-T Data Center: Install, Configure, Manage [V3.0] – This five-day, fast-paced course provides comprehensive training on how to install, configure, and manage a VMware NSX-T™ Data Center environment. This course covers key NSX-T Data Center features and functionality offered in the NSX-T Data Center 3.0 release, including the overall infrastructure, logical switching, logical routing, networking and security services, micro-segmentation and firewalls, and more.

VMware vSphere: Fast Track [V7] – This five-day, intensive course takes you from introductory to advanced VMware vSphere® 7 management skills. Building on the installation and configuration content from our best-selling course, you will also develop advanced skills needed to manage and maintain a highly available and scalable virtual infrastructure.
VMware vSphere: Design [V7] – This three-day training course equips you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to design a VMware vSphere® 7 virtual infrastructure. You follow a proven approach to design a virtualization solution that ensures availability, manageability, performance, recoverability, and security, and that uses VMware best practices. This course discusses the benefits and risks of available design alternatives and provides information to support making sound design decisions.
VMware Workspace ONE: Advanced Integration [V20.x] – In this five-day course, you will learn about the advanced VMware Workspace ONE® use cases and integrations. The course also addresses the industry standard authentication protocol and technologies that can be integrated with Workspace ONE. Through a combination of hands-on labs, simulations, and interactive lectures, you identify and configure various authentication methods and scenarios, integrations with third-party solutions and identity providers, advanced Workspace ONE component configurations, and both VMware Carbon Black and VMware Horizon ® configurations.
