February Course Announcements: 11 NEW Ways for You to Upgrade Your Skills

This month, VMware Education Services released 11 NEW courses to help develop your skills and increase your knowledge in VMware vRealize, Workspace ONE, VMware App Volumes and Dynamic Environment Manager, as well as a Japanese version of a VMware vSphere 6.7 course and NSX-T Data Center course. In addition, there is one new course coming soon. Summaries are provided below.

 

VMware vRealize

VMware vRealize Network Insight: Install, Configure, Manage [V5.0] – This two-day, hands-on course gives you the skills to deploy and use VMware vRealize® Network Insight™ to ensure an optimized, highly available, and secure infrastructure for your applications. You will learn the features, components, architecture, and benefits of vRealize Network Insight and how to use it to simplify daily operation and troubleshooting tasks.

 

VMware vRealize Automation: Install, Configure, Manage [V8] – On Demand – During this course, equivalent to 5 days of training, you will focus on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vRealize® Automation™. You will gain an understanding on how to use vRealize Automation to automate the delivery of virtual machines, applications, and personalized IT services across different data centers and hybrid cloud environments. The course covers how to manage both on-premise systems and cloud services and how vRealize Automation Service Broker can aggregate content in native formats from multiple clouds and platforms into a common catalog. You will learn how to interface vRealize Automation with other systems using VMware vRealize® Orchestrator™ and how to use vRealize Automation to manage Kubernetes systems and leverage other systems.

 

VMware Workspace ONE

VMware Workspace ONE: Skills for Unified Endpoint Management v20.x – In this three-day course, you configure and secure unified endpoint activation, registration, and resource integrations. You learn how to integrate industry-recognized enterprise technologies with the VMware Workspace ONE® UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) console.

 

VMware Workspace ONE: Integrating the Digital Workspace v20.x – In this two-day course, you learn how to navigate and manage the VMware Workspace ONE® Access™ console. Through a combination of hands-on labs, simulations, and interactive lectures, you configure enterprise and productivity integration, Digital Workspace integration, authentication methods, access policies, web and virtual resource integrations, and single sign-on for a web resource. The principles of identity and access management are addressed throughout the course. You will leave the training empowered with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to effectively implement the Workspace ONE solution to deliver the Digital Workspace experience.

 

VMware Workspace ONE: Deploy and Manage v20.x – In this five-day course, you will configure and secure unified endpoint activation, registration, and authentication. You will learn how to integrate industry-recognized enterprise technologies with VMware Workspace ONE®. Through a combination of hands-on labs, simulations, and interactive lectures, you learn how to configure and manage the endpoint lifecycle. The principles of enterprise mobility, unified endpoint, and identity management are addressed throughout the course. You will leave the training empowered with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to effectively implement Workspace ONE.

 

VMware Workspace ONE: Unified Endpoint Management Troubleshooting v20.x – In this two-day course, you learn to investigate, analyze, and determine issues that might occur with all the different components of the VMware Workspace ONE® UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) platform. Understanding how to effectively troubleshoot product issues enables administrators to understand how product services communicate and function—in turn optimizing service and software health management. Troubleshooting is the backbone of service maintenance and management.

 

VMware Workspace ONE: Unified Endpoint Management Bootcamp v20.x – This five-day course is comprised of the three-day VMware Workspace One: Skills for Unified Endpoint Management course and the two-day VMware Workspace ONE: Unified Endpoint Management Troubleshooting course. You configure and secure unified endpoint activation, registration, and resource integrations and learn how to integrate industry-recognized enterprise technologies with the VMware Workspace ONE® UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) console.

 

VMware Workspace ONE: Unified Endpoint Management for Windows 10 v20.x – In this two-day, hands-on training workshop provides you with the advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage Windows 10 Endpoint Lifecycle in VMware Workspace™ ONE™. This workshop teaches the required skill and competence in onboarding Windows 10 endpoints and managing Windows 10 applications and policies as well as related Workspace ONE functionality such as Production Provisioning and Peer-to-peer Distribution.

 

VMware App Volumes & Dynamic Environment Manager

VMware App Volumes & Dynamic Environment Manager – This three-day course builds your skills in application management using VMware App Volumes™ and VMware Dynamic Environment Manager™. You will learn how to use App Volumes to deliver applications and data to desktops and users in seconds and at scale. You will gain skills in managing application lifecycles from installation to update and replacement. You will also learn how to use Dynamic Environment Manager to provide personalization and dynamic policy configuration across virtual, physical, and cloud-based environments to simplify end-user profile management.

VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale [V6.7] – On Demand Japanese – This course teaches you advanced skills for configuring and maintaining a highly available and scalable virtual infrastructure. Through a mix of lecture and hands-on labs, you configure and optimize the VMware vSphere® 6.7 features that build a foundation for a truly scalable infrastructure, and you discuss when and where these features have the greatest effect. This course deepens your understanding of vSphere and how its advanced features and controls can benefit your organization.

 

VMware NSX-T Data Center: Install, Configure, Manage [V2.4] – On Demand Japanese – This fast-paced course, equivalent to five days of training, provides comprehensive training on how to install, configure, and manage a VMware NSX-T™ Data Center environment. This course covers key NSX-T Data Center features and functionality offered in the NSX-T Data Center 2.4 release, including the overall infrastructure, logical switching, logical routing, networking and security services, micro-segmentation and firewalls, and so on.

VMware Horizon 7: Install, Configure, Manage plus App Volumes Fast Track [V7.10] – This five-day, extended hour course gives you the skills to deliver virtual desktops and applications through a single virtual desktop infrastructure platform. This course builds your skills in installing, configuring, and managing VMware Horizon® 7 through a combination of lecture and hands-on labs. You learn how to configure and deploy pools of virtual machines, how to manage the access and security of the machines, and how to provide a customized desktop environment to end users.
