VMware Digital Badges give you an easy way to share your achievements and certifications with others online. The Digital Badge is an image that, when clicked on, displays verified information, such as what it took to earn it, when it was issued, and more. It’s a great way to tout your accomplishments to managers, recruiters, and peers.
When you’ve earned a VMware badge, you will receive an email notification from VMware’s badging partner, Acclaim. Once you create or log into your Acclaim account, you’ll be able to claim your badge and then share it on social media sites, embed it on your personal website, or email it.
You can also determine if you’d like to accept badges that you receive from VMware automatically, rather than accepting each one independently. When accepting your first badge, you’ll have the option to enable the Auto-Accept feature so that any future badges issued to you will automatically be displayed on your Acclaim profile. You will receive an email informing you of a new badge, but no action will be required—unless you’d like to share your badge to social media. (If you toggle off this setting, you’ll have to accept any future badges manually.)
