This month, VMware Education Services released 3 NEW courses. These include courses in VMware Workspace ONE, Horizon Cloud Service on Microsoft Azure, and NSX-T Data Center to help develop your skills and increase your knowledge. In addition, there are 4 more courses coming soon. Summaries are provided below.

 

VMware Workspace ONE

VMware Workspace ONE: Design v19.x – In this one-day course, learn the fundamentals of VMware Workspace ONE® solution design, which addresses both the general solution design logics, solution design process flow, and the areas of VMware Workspace ONE® UEM use cases.

 

VMware Horizon Cloud Service on Microsoft Azure

VMware Horizon Cloud Service on Microsoft Azure: Deploy and Manage – This three-day, hands-on training provides you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to achieve competence in deploying and managing VMware Horizon® Cloud ServiceTM on Microsoft Azure. This training increases your skill and competence in using the VMware Horizon® Cloud Administration Console and Microsoft Azure portal.

 

VMware NSX-T Data Center

VMware NSX-T Data Center: Troubleshooting and Operations [V2.4] – This five-day, hands-on training course provides you with the advanced knowledge, skills, and tools to achieve competency in operating and troubleshooting the VMware NSX-TTM Data Center environment. In this course, you are introduced to workflows of various networking and security constructs along with several operational and troubleshooting tools that help managing and troubleshooting your NSX-T Data Center. In addition, you are presented with various types of technical problems, which you will identify, analyze, and solve through a systematic process.

VMware vCloud Director

VMware vCloud Director: Install, Configure, Manage v9.7 – In this five-day course, you focus on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vCloud Director® for Service Providers 9.x. You learn about self-service provisioning, the creation of organizations, virtual data centers (VDCs), catalog services that include predefined virtual machines, and on-demand VMware NSX® networks.

 

VMware Workspace ONE

VMware Workspace ONE: Advanced Integration and Design v19.x – In this five-day, extended hour course, you will learn how to navigate and manage the VMware Identity Manager console. Through a combination of hands-on labs, simulations, and interactive lectures, you will configure enterprise and productivity integration, Digital Workspace integration, authentication methods, access policies, web and virtual resource integrations, and Single Sign-On for a web resource. The principles of identity and access management are addressed throughout the course. You will leave the training empowered with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to effectively implement the Workspace ONE solution to deliver the Digital Workspace experience.

 

VMware vCloud NFV with vCloud Director 

VMware vCloud NFV with vCloud Director v9.7 – This hands-on training course discusses Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), a network architecture concept that specifies how virtualization technologies can be used to virtualize network service functions. This course also covers interfacing VMware vCloud Director® with other systems using various APIs and the integration and use of VMware vCloud® Availability for vCloud Director®. You will also understand how to manage multisite, cross-VDC (Virtual Data Center) networking for vCloud Director and how to configure Central Point of Management (CPOM) to define a software-defined datacenter (SDDC) for tenant and provider users of vCloud Director. This course also discusses how to monitor various vCloud Director objects using VMware vRealize® Operations™, Tenant vApp, and VMware vRealize® Log Insight™

 

VMware Cloud on AWS 

VMware Cloud on AWS Deploy & Manage 2019 – On Demand – This three-day course teaches you skills for deploying and managing a VMware Cloud™ on AWS infrastructure. Through a mix of lecture and labs, you deploy and manage the VMware Cloud on AWS and VMware vSphere® features that build a foundation for a hybrid infrastructure. You also discuss when and where these features have the greatest effect. Anyone planning to migrate, build, or hybridize with VMware Cloud on AWS can benefit from this course.
