130x Performance: How NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS Achieved App & Data Speed at Scale
NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS processes 6 million invoices per month. In 2023, due to changes in Japan’s regulations, this system saw a 50x surge in access requests. By using VMware Tanzu® Greenplum, Broadcom scaled system performance 100x in less than two months.
Additionally, Broadcom focused on further optimization of the application code, which was written in VMware Tanzu® Spring®. The Tanzu Spring extended support ensured compliance with multiple years of non-disruptive patching. This ensured the quality of their applications, allowing developers to focus on optimizing performance.

90-Minutes or Less: Deploy Modern Apps with VMware Tanzu Platform and VMware Tanzu Data
In this tutorial session, you will learn how to use VMware Tanzu® Platform to deploy a microservice-based Spring Boot application architecture in minutes. Furthermore, you will learn how to leverage the embedded Cloud Foundry marketplace to deploy on-demand VMware Tanzu® Data Services, such as Postgres, GemFire, and RabbitMQ, for your app backends.
