Welcome to VMware Explore 2024 Las Vegas, where thousands of tech enthusiasts have gathered at The Venetian Convention and Expo Center for the industry’s essential cloud event. Reporting live from Nevada, here’s your day two recap of VMware Explore 2024.
Yesterday at 5:00 PM, attendees were led by the lively beats of the Elvis Drumline from The Commons to The Expo, officially kicking off the Welcome Reception. The air buzzed with energy as attendees mingled with top sponsors and exhibitors, all while enjoying drinks and hors d’oeuvres. The VMware by Broadcom booth was buzzing with tutorials, expert advice, and attendees lining up to pick up their official event t-shirt.
Nearby, explorers engaged with various interactive zones in The Hub, from the Broadcast Booth featuring theCUBE, to the Spring Theater, Meet the Expert Roundtable Sessions, and the Rewards area where attendees could gain tokens for a good cause and exchange them for prizes. Offering more than ever before was the VMware Communities Space in The Hub, which included the Community Theater, VMware Tanzu Vanguard, VMUG, Blogger Tables, and the VMware {code} Labs area plus its theater. With all this action, it’s hard to believe we’re only on Day 2.
This morning, the main stage took the spotlight with an innovative general session featuring Broadcom leaders, VMware experts, and innovative customers. Subject matter included real-world insights on optimizing, scaling, and securing enterprise workloads. Didn’t catch it live? The excitement didn’t stop there. Throughout the day, attendees participated in breakout sessions, expert-led roundtables, and Hands-on Labs. Some were even grooving to the sounds of the DJ booth in The Commons, overlooking the view of Las Vegas while others were spectating in The Hub during live broadcasting coming from the Virtually Speaking Podcast area.
