It’s not long to go now until our annual showcase event for partners in Europe, EMPOWER Online Europe, takes place.
This is the third digital EMPOWER we have run since the pandemic began a little over a year ago; and over that time, despite many challenges, our partners have played a leading role in helping organisations across the world to pivot, recover and innovate while facing some of the most challenging times of a generation.
While 2021 has ushered in both hope and opportunity, we’re increasingly seeing how resiliency, security, velocity and agility have become paramount to the success of today’s increasingly digital organisations.
It’s something that is the cornerstone of this year’s event, and why it’s more important than ever that you’ve booked the time and are ready for all that this year’s EMPOWER will throw at you.
You’ll hear from a host of VMware superstars like Sanjay Poonen, Jean-Pierre Brulard, Sandy Hogan and Susan Nash (as well as myself), to offer you the latest on VMware’s global partner strategy and what that means for our EMEA partners.
There’s also the chance to hear from IDC analyst Steve White who will be diving into the global trends in the partner eco-system, as well as my own session with Luigi Freguia, SVP and General Manager of EMEA as we give our perspective on how EMEA partners can differentiate, maintain relevance, and compete as VMware accelerates toward SaaS and subscription.
While that format may sound familiar to events you’ve attended with VMware over the last 12 months, there’s one show I am particularly excited about – and that’s the one hosted by our guest speaker, Keren Elazari.
TED speaker, security analyst, and friendly hacker—Keren wears many hats, and will walk through the new realities of cybersecurity challenges, trends, predictions and tools to build your digital immune system. It’s a great chance to learn how businesses are changing their security strategies to stay ahead of the challenge. From Zoom bombing to account takeovers, ransomware and phishing, we’ll shed light on emerging security threats, attackers’ techniques, and practical ideas on how to build a safe future together.
With so much to cover, it’s of no surprise then that after listening to the feedback from partners that attended the first online version of our EMPOWER event last year, we’ve expanded the event to THREE days!
