VMware is announcing the End of Availability and End of Distribution of vSphere Management SDK version 6.0 and older. These versions will effectively no longer be available for download through the official VMware channels.
The lifecycle of vSphere Management SDK follows vSphere release cycle. Therefore, we want to explicitly point out, that the support for each version of the Management SDK will expire together with the end of support for respective vSphere version.
Considering the end of support for vSphere 6.5 and vSphere 6.7 comes on 15th of October 2022, we are making an exception for relevant versions of the Management SDK. These versions of the Management SDK will be effectively supported until the End of Technical Guidance for vSphere 6.5 and vSphere 6.7 on 11th of November 2023.
In line with the announcements above, VMware recommends to all our customers to always rely on the latest published version of vSphere Management SDK, available for download. You can always contact our support teams to ask any questions you have or get help with the Management SDK.
