There’s been an increasing trend lately in people wanting to discuss the application of configuration management to their vSphere environments. If you’ve spent any time researching it, you’ll find there are a wide variety of tools available. With each of these tools, they have their own set of dependencies, their own set of functionalities, and their own definition of support coverage.
I happened to have spent quite a bit of time over the last year at various conferences, VMUGs, and other events discussing configuration management strategies when it comes to vSphere, and virtualized environments in general. This is an important discussion, and VMware wants to hear from you!
