Wow! What an amazing week! The VMware Cloud Services Provider team had a wonderful time meeting all of you at VMware Explore 2023 Las Vegas last week. There were many terrific discussions, great questions, and thought leadership conversations driving creative ideas throughout the week of activities. Our partners heard plenty of new and exciting announcements at the general session and across the event (day1 recap, day2 recap, day3 recap).
We also got to learn firsthand about our partner successes, and hear about upcoming plans during focused partner discussions in the meeting center and at our partner technical advisory board event. With a capacity crowd of partners, we received great feedback on our partner vision, roadmap, and what our partners are doing with our solutions.
We got a chance to show off some of our latest solutions at our demo booth on the floor at the Expo, and answer challenging questions at the Meet the Experts roundtables. With the whole portfolio represented, there were solutions for every type of partner to engage with.
With so much going on, it was nice to have quiet spots in the day across one of the many lounges and at the beach. Did you get a chance to play pool, drive the McLaren NEOM e-simulator, or hang out with the puppies at the Bark Park?
At the Hands-On Labs section, VMware provided attendees with nearly 7,200 labs! Those labs consumed 93,315 VMs, 354,326 NSX networks, and over 1.3 PB of vSAN storage over the course of the conference’s 4 days, all backed by the latest VMware Cloud Director 10.5 release in our internal data centers and within VMware Cloud on AWS using VMware Cloud Director Service. New labs were introduced mid-week, showcasing our new Gen AI initiatives – did you have a chance to try one? And for our Cloud Services Provider partners, we had three new VMware Cloud Director specific labs to showcase the basics of using VCD with vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and Aria solutions, and a VMware Cloud Director Availability lab showcasing common use cases for DR and migration.
Finally, we provided our partners with the latest release content in our live breakout sessions, covering all our newest solutions for partners to build out their cloud-builder and SaaS portfolios of VMware services upon. If you missed the live sessions, here are the session recordings for each of our live breakout sessions that you can review at your leisure, as well as our pre-recorded sessions:
