Jonathan McDonald is a Master Architect on the VCF Portfolio Services Engineering team, focusing on the VMware portfolio of products since 2005. His area of focus is with VMware Cloud Foundation including VMware vSphere®, VMware vSAN™ and integrations between all the products. He participates in the development of validated solution architectures, comprehensive professional services, and technical training to ensure successful customer deployments. Prior to joining Portfolio Services Engineering, Jonathan was a Staff Technical Support Engineer with VMware Global Support specializing in the VMware vCenter® product and supporting technologies. In this role he dealt with customer escalations, mentoring, and interactions with the internal product engineering teams.
