Ala is a Product Line Manager in the VCF Division at Broadcom, focusing on AI infrastructure and bringing advanced services to the VCF Private AI portfolio. Prior to the Broadocm acquisition, she spearheaded product management for projects in the edge, distributed systems, and modern application spaces. Before joining VMware, she headed up engineering operations and program management for SS&C Eze’s Eclipse platform, a cloud-native trading and accounting platform for hedge funds. Prior to that, she held customer-facing roles at Veracode, a leader in application security, and wore many hats at Best Practical Solutions, selling services for the leading enterprise open-source ticketing system, Request Tracker. Outside of work, Ala enjoys building AI community as an organizer with AICamp (aicamp.ai), skiing everywhere she can with her husband and friends, and enjoying walks by the Mystic River with her dog Sherlock. Ala has a BA in Classics from Colby College, and an MBA from Simmons University, where she earned membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society serving AACSB-accredited business school programs.
