Fact #23: There are financially flexible options for deploying Cloud Foundation.
VMware Cloud Universal is an exciting new opportunity for organizations looking to take advantage of VMware Cloud Foundation. Companies can now purchase Cloud Foundation on a subscription basis, which allows for greater financial flexibility to deploy all types of applications, whether they’re on a private, edge or public cloud infrastructure. For example, the subscription enables companies with on-premises capital expenses to move their infrastructure to operational expenses to better align with financial plans. Additionally, term-based and on-demand subscriptions allow entitlement allocations based on business mandates and peak IT demand.
Fact #24: Cloud Foundation supports an array of partner integrations.
The newest version of Cloud Foundation makes it even easier for users to team up with their partners. VMware Cloud Foundation includes vSAN Data Persistence Platform, which allows customers to manage S3-compatible object storage for unstructured data. The HCI platform supports partner offerings from Cloudian and MinIO.
Seamless partner integration is so important because ultimately, visibility and collaboration ensure that work isn’t duplicated. With everyone on the same page, companies and partners are likely to finish work on time and on budget.
Fact #25: Cloud Foundation provides cloud-like operating models that simplify consumption of networking and security constructs.
Companies are spreading their data centers out now more than ever due to globalization and in the name of better security and disaster preparedness.
